A fire broke out at a plastics company in the Buenos Aires locality of Carlos Spegazzini, home to the Ezeiza Industrial Pole. No fatalities were reported. According to the Argentine News Agency, the fire quickly spread due to the highly flammable material after starting at Bolsaflex. Authorities recommended that residents avoid the area, travel there unnecessarily, and keep their windows and doors closed.
This is the same location where an explosion occurred on Friday, November 14, affecting several factories. Firefighters rushed to the building to extinguish the flames as a dense cloud of smoke covered the area.
Civil Defense personnel, police officers, and emergency ambulances also responded to the scene, while traffic was diverted in the vicinity.
